Welcome to Edner. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up Edner FN Ascend. Please follow each step carefully to ensure proper installation.

NOTE: Follow all instructions carefully. Incorrect use may cause the product to fail. Contact ticket support if you have questions.

This guide offers clear, step by step instructions for setting up Edner FN Ascend. Please follow each step carefully to ensure a smooth installation and avoid potential issues. If you have any questions or encounter a problem that is not addressed in the Fixes section, feel free to contact us through our Discord server for assistance.

NOTE: If certain features aren't functioning properly in-game, please first verify that there isn't an ongoing update or maintenance period. You can do this by checking the game-updates channel within our Discord server. Updates may temporarily affect functionality until compatibility is restored.
Pre-Inject

Pre-Inject Steps

Before injecting the cheat, you must complete the following pre-requisite steps to ensure proper functionality.

IMPORTANT: Your computer must be restarted after completing the pre-inject steps before proceeding to injection.

Required Steps:

  • Enable CPU Virtualization in BIOS
  • Enable Hyper-V in Windows
  • Disable Windows Defender
  • Install Visual C++ Runtimes
  • Install DirectX
  • Restart your computer
BIOS Setup

BIOS Settings

For FN Ascend to work correctly, you need to enable CPU Virtualization in your BIOS and enable Hyper-V in Windows. Follow these instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT: After completing these steps, your computer will need to restart. This is normal and required for the changes to take effect.

1. Enable CPU Virtualization (BIOS)

CPU Virtualization must be enabled in your BIOS. The exact steps vary by motherboard manufacturer, but the general process is the same.

How to Enable Virtualization:

  1. Restart your PC and press the BIOS key repeatedly during boot.

    Common BIOS keys by manufacturer:

    DEL or F2 - ASUS, MSI, GigabyteF2 or F12 - Dell, LenovoF10 - HPF2 - ASRock, Acer
  2. Navigate to the CPU settings
    Look for a tab or menu called Advanced, CPU Configuration, or OC Tweaker.
  3. Find the Virtualization setting

    Look for one of these options:

    • • Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) - for Intel CPUs
    • • Intel VT-d - for Intel CPUs
    • • SVM Mode - for AMD CPUs
    • • AMD-V - for AMD CPUs
  4. Set it to Enabled
    Select the option and change it from Disabled to Enabled.
  5. Save and Exit
    Press F10 to save changes and exit BIOS. Your PC will restart.

How to Verify

After restarting, open Task Manager > Performance > CPU. At the bottom, you should see Virtualization: Enabled.

2. Enable Hyper-V (Windows)

Hyper-V is a Windows feature that must be enabled for FN Ascend to function properly.

Method 1: Via Windows Features (Recommended)

  1. Open Windows Features
    Press Win + R, type optionalfeatures and press Enter.
  2. Find Hyper-V
    Scroll down and find Hyper-V in the list.
  3. Enable Hyper-V
    Check the box next to Hyper-V to enable it. Make sure all sub-options are also checked:
    • • Hyper-V Management Tools
    • • Hyper-V Platform
  4. Also enable these features (if available):
    • • Virtual Machine Platform
    • • Windows Hypervisor Platform
  5. Click OK and Restart
    Windows will install the features and prompt you to restart.

Method 2: Via Command Prompt

If you prefer using the command line, open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /All /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V

Then restart your computer when prompted.

Note: Hyper-V is only available on Windows 10/11 Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions. If you are running Windows Home, you may need to upgrade or use an alternative method.
Step 1

Disable Windows Defender

Windows Defender must be disabled for the software to run correctly. Follow these steps to disable it using dControl.

  1. Download dControl
    Download the dControl archive using the link provided above.
  2. Extract the Files
    Right-click the downloaded .zip file and extract its contents to a folder of your choice.
  3. Launch dControl
    Open the extracted folder and run dControl.exe.
  4. Disable Windows Defender
    In the dControl window, select Disable Windows Defender.

Success Indicator

Once Windows Defender is successfully disabled, the status indicator will turn red. This confirms the step has been completed successfully, and you may proceed to the next Pre-Inject step.

Step 2

Download & Install Visual C++ Runtimes

Visual C++ Runtimes are required for the software to run correctly. Missing or outdated runtimes may cause launch or stability issues.

  1. Download the Runtime Package
    Download the Visual C++ Runtimes – All-in-One archive from the link above.
  2. Extract the Archive
    Use an extraction tool such as WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the contents to a folder.
  3. Open the Extracted Folder
    Navigate to the newly extracted folder.
  4. Run the Installer
    Right-click install_all.bat and select Run as administrator.
  5. Approve Prompts
    When prompted by User Account Control (UAC), select Yes for all requests. The installation process may take several minutes depending on your system and internet speed.

Completion

Once the script finishes, all required Visual C++ Runtimes will be installed. You may now proceed to the next step of the setup process.

Step 3

Download & Install DirectX

DirectX is required for proper graphics rendering and system compatibility. Installing the latest version helps prevent launch errors and crashes.

  1. Access the Download Page
    Open the provided download link: https://gofile.io/d/cPOeD0
  2. Download the Installer
    Download the file named dxwebsetup.exe from the page.
  3. Run the Installer
    Locate the downloaded file and double-click dxwebsetup.exe to begin installation.
  4. Review Installation Options
    During setup, uncheck the option labeled "Install Bing Bar" (or any optional additional software) to avoid unnecessary components.
  5. Complete the Installation
    Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation finishes.

Completion

Once the installation is complete, DirectX will be successfully installed. You may now proceed to the next stage of the setup process.

REMINDER: After completing all pre-inject steps, restart your computer before proceeding to injection.
Injecting

How to Inject the Cheat into Fortnite

This section explains how to correctly load and inject the cheat into Fortnite. Following the steps in order is important to ensure the menu loads properly in-game.

  1. Download the Loader
    Download the loader from the link below: https://gofile.io/d/KZVY63
  2. Run the Loader as Administrator
    Right-click the loader executable and select Run as administrator.
  3. Log In
    When prompted, log in using your provided key.
  4. First Load - PC Restart
    Click Fortnite in the launcher and click Load. On the first time you load, your computer will automatically restart. This is normal and required for the software to initialize properly.
  5. Run the Loader Again
    After your PC restarts, run the loader again as administrator and log in with your key.
  6. Load and Launch Fortnite
    Click Fortnite in the launcher, then click Load again. This time, it will prompt you to launch Fortnite. Open Fortnite and the menu should appear. After successfully loading the cheat, the loader will close automatically.
  7. Configure Game Settings
    Once it closes, ensure the game is running in fullscreen windowed mode and wait until you reach the main menu.
  8. Open the Menu In-Game
    When the game has fully loaded and you are at the main menu, the cheat menu will initialize. Press INSERT to open or close the menu.
Remember: The first load will always restart your PC. After the restart, run the loader again and click Load to proceed with launching Fortnite.
